Um, it's not that hard to install them. A little more involved to set them up properly. I don't know their skill level or experience so I can't really answer that question. The questions you should ask them are:
How many ring and pinion installs have you done in the past? Do you guarantee that the ring and pinion will make no noise with them installing them? If their answers don't satisfy you, I would look elsewhere.
