My car is slow

The past few days i've just been driving my car around the neighborhood, since I lost my license. But at first I though my car was sort of fast but now it just doesnt even impress me. I want more power but I don't want to have to spend $4k on a turbo or supercharger set up. I was thinking about a zex nitrous kit but I want power all of the time, and I will only go to the track maybe once every 3 months. I would love to be able to trap 110. But I don't think thats possible with full bolt ons including long tubes. Or is it? Would cams, full bolt ons, gears, and longtubes be able to get me in the 12s and trap around 110? Thanks.

classic case of mustang syndrome hehe, just playing.

im no expert at 1/4 mile times but i know full boltons can turn your gt into a fun little daily driver. least mine is.

On a budget you can do cams and full bolt ons for a veryyyyyyy reasonable ticket. Just by being frugal with my mod purchases i havent spent half of what members with similar mods have spent

Its from drinking underage. Not speeding or racing.

even worse; seen too many go from drinking right to driving and causing havoc, including my own son, not mention the money it typically costs to get past those kind of tickets/fines etc. Lose the drinking habit, spend the money and your free time modded your stang, and then go have fun legally at the strip with the car!

Well if you don't want to spend 4k maybe do what a couple of the guy's do on here look around for a used supercharger kit or piece one together, that's what im doing.
If you want try and take out some weight will help a little bit.

This isn't the burn out box. No flaming or, infractions will follow. It isn't any of your places to judge him, and it is not his question and reason for making this thread.

Ok well I know shaun pieced together a kit pretty cheap so that would be tha man to talk to.
I don't know what your car is mostly used for but mine is mostly track and a DD for like 3months out of the year so I can get away with gutting the car and not be worried about it.
I think it's for every 100lbs you drop you pick up 1 tenth in the 1/4(I think)

If that was directed towards me, I'm sorry.
Throw in some gears, it will make the car feel 10x faster.

I am just trying to make sure the situation don't get out of hand. We have people who like to jump on someone for making a bad decision. I am just preventing that from fucking up your thread.

Damn you bad person!!!! How dare you drink?? Who do you think you are? You give us all a bad name when you allow the poison to flow into your body.

Now that I got that off of my chest, as well as just finished a beer. Don't worry about trap times, worry more about e.t. Turning 110 on a stock motor, even one with every bolt on money can buy is difficult. Lighten the car up as much as possible, practice the driving and add gears with sticky tires. These cars will run 12s all day long on motor with a good driver. Nitrous will easily get you into the 11s, of course I always go back to the driver, sticky tires and gears.

Hope you get your license back soon! That sux!
