![]() It would be nice to have the button locked up though. That way, when you stop at the local Hardware store for a fresh roll of duct tape and some rope, the unconsious hooker in your passenger's seat doesn't wake up, pop the trunk release, and let her friend out of the trunk. Hate it when that happens........

I always hate how the crap in the glove box falls out whenever I open the thing- I keep the wheel-lock adapter in there and it falls out, I suppose I could easily move it to the center console. The key-fob thing mine came with has a button for the trunk though, that is nice.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I never looked at it that way. If she acts up you can throw her in the trunk.

Ya that would a great idea, especially for the windshield. For me california we get quite a bit of sun and it bakes the dashboard. So ya an automatic shade would be cool.

Yeah i thought of that for a while too, mercedes already has it though. im sure if ford wanted the design they would have no issue stealing it lol

[QUOTE=blkfordsedan;3948788]Kinda pointless on our cars though, since you can just pull the rear seat backs down.
![]() This is true..

I've been considering doing this for a while now, maybe relocate it to the kick panel or center console. Nice work |

I like mine in the glove box, that way when I leave the top down, nobody can get in the trunk. Good job doing it though, looks clean!

I'm not sure if ALL of our cars have the fold down seats. In most cars, it's an option, usually a 60/40 split I think. There's a guide to relocate your button as well, but it's in the center console.
Mustangworld How-To's INDEX Scroll down and search for the trunk release relocation one. I gave you guys the whole list because there are a LOT of pretty sweet mods/How To's that are pretty in depth for SN95 and S197s that most of us probably haven't found yet. |
