4 point harness?

Hey im just wondering if anyone else is running a 4 point harness.
Im just trying to figure out where I want to drill and mount in the floor.
I will also be running a 5 point cage to strap onto.
Most of you will be like why a 4 point? it's because of how my seat's are set up right now I don't have the crotch hole to run the 5 point.

Oh an any input would be great

Personally I've never seen someone using a 4 pointer, only 5.. but I pulled this off of another forum-
The top should be no more than 12 deg down from the shoulder line to the mount. The mount should be as close to the rear of the seat as possible, any slack can yield movement in the case of a rollover. Harness belts will stretch, more than you think. With the bar directly behind the seat, the belt should be about 1.5" below the shoulder line. If the belt is mounted higher then you run the risk of slipping out of the restraint during a rollover. When the belt is mounted to low then the vertebra in your lower back will see the brunt of the force from the rollover causing injury.
After that ^^^^^^^ I figured as close to the seat as possible I found this as well 4 Point Installation Instructions
Here's some diagrams-

Hope I could be of some assistance, if I didn't I'm sorry, I tried.

I'm hung up on the 5 point cage thing........ I've made and installed many cages, never with an odd number of attachment points.

Yea sorry that is a new rule here for racing the 5th point come basically down at the tranny ( it's new this year) I got in shit at the track with my comet for not having it.
I still didn't understand why but my father know's more about it than I do.
I'll try and find more about it later today.

I've run a 4 point before..... attach both lap sides through the floor using the orignal seatbelt hardware, the two shoulder straps wrap around the back brace in the main hoop.

Thank you.
Ok so I talked to my dad and brother who know about the 5 point cage rule.
As of last year at the end of the race's they brought in the 5 point cage rule, the 5th point must go down toward's the tranny hump on a 6x6 plate in order to be legal.
So there will be no more 4 point cage's up here

hmmmmm. that's very interesting. Is this for road racing? Does it go to the rear most portion of the trans tunnel? I'm just trying to figure out the logic behind the trans tunnel as a termination point. That's one of the weakest points on the unibody with almost no lateral support.

It's for the 1/4 and 1/8 track, Im actually looking online right now to find what the logic is behind it also.
I think it's just for a little extra support? not sure though.
I'll try and dig up some more info on it cause now it's bothering me and I can't get ahold of anybody to ask them.
