Sounds like the stock rear shocks are gone out. You will need to replace them and will need to get CC plates to get your camber etc back to wear it needs to be since you probably gotten a lot of neg camber gain after lowering. You will also probably need a bumpsteer kit to correct the tierod angles.

Hope all works out well for you.
Excuse my stupidity but could you tell me more about the bumpsteer kit, i dont know anything about that?
Thanks

A bumpsteer kit is an adjustable tierod. It either raise or lower your tie rod parrellal to your front arm. It brings the tierod closer to stock geometry basically after you lower your car. It all depends on how much you lower it. If you lower it more then 1.5in drop in the front you will need a bumpsteer kit. If your only up to 1.5 in you should be ok.

The cause I have found is that if you hit a bump and you feel the steering wheel steer without any input that is a bumpsteer issue basically.
The good ones are either Maximum Motorsports or Steeda seem to be the better kits to go with. Hope this helps out.

After i looked at it and read some more on it it seems like you only need that if your car is all over the place handling wise. Mine doesn't do that it rides nice i just have the rubbing issues and what not lol.

am i the only one that noticed he said he measures ride height from the ground to the fender? measure it from the center of the wheel to the center of the fender opening. secondly check your bushings and all other suspension components. a bad or slightly bad control arm bushing will cause more then desirable flex suspension flex (aka tire rub) squeaking, and clunking noises.

Those 2 statements dont seem to sit well with me, You want a 12 second daily driver but are gonna put kyb gr-2s on it? Those are more of an OEM replacement shock and arent gonna be matched well with the HR springs, If you want to stay cheap and still have a decent strut/shock go with the koni strts but kybs are stock replacements

but hopefully you fixed your issue by now anywyas
