valve cover breathers?

what does it take to run valve cover breathers? i have thought about this but not done it yet. i hate having hoses run all over the engine compartment. what issues will i have with it, if any? supercharged motor if that matters. will i need a tune for this sort of thing?

I've got one on the intake side(driver) Put one one because I didn't want any extra tubing considering I had enough

Only issue I ever had with running breathers on a boosted motor is it sprays oil mist out. If you only run one filter the other valve cover has to run before the maf or else you will have issues with un-metered air

Smart man.

There's also the issue of allowing more moisture in, but thats primarily if you do lots of short trips. If you do longer drives then it has an opportunity to burn off any moisture.

Also crankcase vapors technically count against emissions. I highly doubt they do sniffer tests for this, but it's technically part of EPA/CARB regulations.

Holy hose, Sinister, what is all that? Inky, I think Stal hit it. The PVC system draws air from one side through the PVC and into the intake. So if you run a breather instead of a hose it will allow un-metered air. I briefly ran a breather without any problem, but it really should run back to the intake before the S/C and after the MAF. I've always wondered pressure is lost through the PVC or elsewhere.
