Auxillary input on Mach 460?

Firs things first, I'm terrible at car electronics/stereo systems so bear with me lol. I'm trying to figure out how to hook up my Droid smartphone up to my CD player so I can play Pandora/downloaded songs, etc. off of it. It has a little earphone plug on the top of it, but I'm not sure if I can just buy a simple wire and plug it into the back of my head unit? Or if I have to splice something in to make it work. I don't feel like spending $28794798 on something like this. Just something nice and simple if it's possible. Also, if you disconnect the head unit, do you need a special code for it to work again after you hook it back up? Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

I lied about the headphone plug on top...it's a bit bigger than a headphone piece.

One way you could go is maybe get an FM modulator. Don't know if that would work with your dumbphone but it did for my Ipod.

is it the stock head-unit? What "ear phone" or slightly bigger sized plug are you talking about? That is not on a stock unit, at least as far as 2002+ goes.

The AUX input will work, but you will probally need to find a wire diagram to figure out how to use it/what wires to connect to where. its not impossible. I have considered this before.

No. It's the stock head unit 6-disc changer. I was talking about the port on my phone that looked like you plug a set of headphones in. I wasnt sure if there was a port on the back of my head unit to plug in an aux. cord or if theres some way I can connect my phone to my head unit so I can play music from my phone.

I bought a FM Transmittor for $35 and it works great. No static. But it would be nice to plug in an aux cable. Sorry bro, wish I could be more helpful
