I want a sticky tire that will last 5000 miles at least for my fr500 rims 18by10 mainly driven on the street but will see some track time(1/4) not my dd

Your gonna spend that much money expecting a tire to last only 5000 miles??? thats a waste.

IMO Go for some nice stick street tires, I recently picked up some some nitto nt555s and i love em, dont have a single complaint. To each their own though but why dont you get a nice sticky tire for the street (that will last 10-20k) and have a dedicated rear set-up just for the track, It takes what 15 minutes to change your rears?

just seems wasteful to run a tire on the street thats only gonna last 5k, if i did that id be buying new tires like 3-5 times a year

I only put 3000 on my car this year n I have 555 on now n can't hook n my other set 315 555r don't really hook that's good at the track n hoping after this winter to be around 400whp so would like a sticky tire for that reason

Weird, I hook all day with mine and your not putting down any more power than I. If it were me i would just buy a set of drack slicks and run nt555s on the street.
