Fire came out of my tailpipes!?!?!!?

so i was hangin with all of my buds at in n out burger they had all there trucks and i was in my stang, so as i went to leave my only other ford bud wanted to hear my exhaust so they all stood behind my car and i started it and when i started to rev i looked in the rearview mirror i saw a blueish light and then heard them all laughing and shrieking with joy, so i got out and i guess six inch blue flames came out of my exhaust! anyone know what the fuck happend?
oh and i loved the response from random people in the parking lot so has anyone tried a flamethrower kit? seems complicated but i want one!!!

Did you rev it right after you started it? If so I would say its normal if you have no cats. The cars dump alot of fuel into the engine to get it started, alot of it goes into the pipes.

Wish I could have seen it!

when you first start your car you run rich.

extra fuel in the pipes is all.

and flame thrower kits are mad illegal to have.(off road use only)

nothing is illegal til you get caught! but i think it is illegal to have a bottle hooked up in your street car. cops dont know if you spray or not, if they want to ticket you, they will.

I've never seen flames come out of my exhaust when I start it up but then again I never rev it up really high the second I start it.

Has anyone ever even seen flamethrowing kits for our Mustangs?

There are allot of flame thrower kits out there.. its a very easy install.. some basic wiring a couple coils and a couple spark plugs.. we put them on my buddy's 56 Ford Pickup!! And they only reason you were shootin a flame was cause of the non-cat status..

Hooked up or not, they could just give you a ticket anyway, if they see the tank, and believe that you have been using it.

Compared to driving a POS import, the chances of getting a ticket for Loud exhuast,Tints,Nos, excelerating to fast ...you kno illegal shit is must less then if you were drving a civic,wrx, or any other annoying ass car that wines instead of roars... cops hate hearing imports... cops love mustangs.... atleast thats my experiance! ive been pulled over twice to be questioned the year,milage, and price he could pick one up for by cops around my town.... and they have asked how much hp i have.... basically like he said, when you get pulled over be nice respectful and have a good attitude like your just tryin to enjoy your car and the piggys should leave you alone when your in a mustang!
