Best Cams

What would be the best cam to go with an 03' GT?? What do they run for installation? Is balancing usually done right at the shop or somewhere else?

I have an 03 with the comp 270AH cams and love them. They are good with nitrous and NA. I paid 600 for cams and valve springs and 400 to be put in, and then 150 to retune the car. You will need a tune no matter what cams.

Is it a pretty agressive cam? I mean did you have to go with aftermarket heads or pistons.

Do you have any clips of what it sounds like with the cam?

I'm looking for a good cam setup because down the line I plan on adding a turbo/s. But not for a while $$$.

i went with a custom grind cam from www.flowtechinduction.com

I just told them what i wanted and they made a set of cams for me.

I don't know if anyone else saw it, but I think in the last Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine there was some new software out where you could put in all your car specs, what you wanted to do with the car in the future, and it recommended the right cams for you. It was pretty cool.

I didn't have to replace the heads. All you have to do is the valve springs. I ran them for about a year like that. I did end up replacing my short block to a mmr 1100 with custom notched pistons but only because I am going to a custom grind blower cam and tea built heads next month when I finally get my procharger installed.
