Tune checked on the dyno

Had the tune checked on the dyno today, its not great, but still damn good, I'm really pleased with that torque curve!

369.56 RWHP and 378.62 RWTQ with an A/F thats really rich. mostly 11:1 and it dips to around 10.7:1 in the higher rpms.

He guessed I could probably gain 30-40 RWHP having him tune it, but said as is I will have no problems as a daily driver. So I'm thinking about it, but for now I don't feel bad running the car hard!

I'll post the video as soon as its done loading.

Uhhm you can almost definitly hit that 410. You need 42lb injectors and a tune and its totally possible. You might actually get better MPG with a tune aswell.

I don't think i need 42#er's either. I might do the tune, but with the car running rich as hell as is I think the 36#er's will work fine. As for getting 400+ I know I can. The tuner even said with the boost I'm running he could more then likely get me 30-50 more ponies out of it, just depends on how the car responds to the tunning.

Hey banned you need to chill the f* out! all i see from you is neg posts.. He can easly hit 410 with a tune....
Nice #'s for the box tune. I am finally back on the island i got here mon at like 2. I hope i get a chance to see the thing before you ship it off. Crongrats man!
And RyanGT... Its all going to come down to the tuner. Someone better might be able to squeez a couple more hp out of it. (im not saying your tuner is bad, just saying someone else might have a way to get a few more out) But they are still nice #'s for you and him.

I don't have to go back to work till Wed. Maybe this weekend You, Amp and I could get together for dinner or something.

I've been doing some reading to figure out why my numbers are lower then what KB advertised. And found out a couple things.

1. My A/F is exactly what KB says it should be.
2. I need to check my tire pressure... I know I have a leaky back wheel and I've heard low tire pressure can kill a dyno reading.
3. It was 15 degrees warmar and really humid when I tested mine vs. what KB does their tests at... All of that combined I think explains why I didn't hit higher numbers.

Make sense to anyone else?

nice numbers but also realise that that dynojet reads bout 15% higher than what the real world numbers are. humidity and heat will def kill power numbers.

Iv'e heard that 4.10s can actually lower Your dyno numbers........
And did You ever dyno it before the kb?
That would be some useful info.
