Cheapest place to get a stock intake?

I recently found out (while attempting to get my car smogged) that my JLT intake does not have a CARB Executive Order number and thus cannot pass smog.

I bought the JLT a couple years back based on recommendations of people here, but never really considered the smog regulations in the purchase and I'm almost positive I threw my stock intake out.

Where is the cheapest place to buy a stock intake for my 2001 GT? I will probably just swap it back out as soon as a I pass the test.

Ebay, is your best friend. Or find one in a junk yard.

A junkyard would be your cheapest. Especially if you don't plan on using it.

Found one on ebay, this should have everything I need right-

1998-2004 Mustang GT Stock Air Intake | eBay

Anyone from CA (or familiar with cali regulations) know if there is anything I need to ask the seller? He listed the part number so it seems like it should be legit to pass.

Yeah thats everything. You'll just take the mass air off your intake system and install it to the plastic end where the filter goes. And that silver circle net is just what goes between the filter and the mass air. You dont actually need to install that for smog, but you can if you want.

Stock parts don't need a carb number so the rep wont even bother asking for one.

Hey, see you're in CA. There's actually a half off day this weekend at the junkyard so i'm sure you can get the entire intake for under 10 bucks.

I've been holding onto mine for that very reason. Smog is a bitch in CA

Cali rules suck, an intake..really? Hell I dont have to do an inspection or a smog test here. +1 to eBay or craigslist tho. I might be able to dig mine out if it still around lemme know
