Choosing a Block

Well, my plan is to find a Teksid block, mainly for weight savings, and they can hold 1000+ hp. But From my reading there are a lot of guys just building cast blocks. Im not worried about teh cost difference between a $300 teksid vs $150 Cast block. But other then cost difference is there any particular part differences? Ive seen certain main studs, head studs, ect that are amulinum, or cast specific.

Aluminum blocks are 4 bolt mains, cast are 2 bolt. That's about all I can think of.

Get a carbon fiber block. Carbon fiber makes everything better.
