well i just picked up some lm1's

i know most everyone says lm1s sound like crap but i got a good deal on the pair and can make some money selling them if i dont care for them. i'm pretty excited to install them now that i have headers and an o/r x. the guy i bought them from said his neighbors kept calling the cops on him.

im stoked cause i dont like my neighbors.

anyways i'll try to post some vids of my setup now and what it sounds like after the install.

well i've got shorties and o/r x not lt's so idk whether the two will sound different or not. even though my mid pipes o/r the headers cut almost all the rasp out of my flows so i hope it does the same with the lm1's.

i "should" have them on thursday but you know how things go. i'm gonna see about taping my current exhaust tommorrow since i'm off.

SLP Lm1s and o/r X pipe sounds awful. Its stupid loud and has no tone to it. The first day is funny, then after that it gets old. I had SLP LM1 with a o/r Prochamber and it sounded a lot better. A lot more toned, still loud as shit, but I could contain the loudness a lot easier.

agreed. o/r x and slp is a no go. its the differenc between singing a loud note vs just yelling one. But some ppl may love it thats why i want to know what the op thinks after he installs them he may end up liking it though.

those lm2s have a night and day tune vs the lm1.

yeah well i got a deal on the lm1's plus the headers made a night and day difference over just the x and c/b so thats why i'm curious. i originally planned on buying lm2's but got such a good deal on these that even if i dont like them i can sell and make money off them and then buy the lm2's.
the guy i bought them from took them off his gt cause his neighbors kept calling the cops plus he bought a terminator so he's selling the gt.

thats true if you dont like them you can sell them. thats what i did with the one i pulled off the wifes truck. It was on for almost two months then i pulled it off, cleaned it up and sold it on craigslist.

yeah i already have a guy who i know will buy them so thats my backup plan. i hope they sound good but i'll try to post the current set up tomorrow after i make a vid then i'll post the lm1's later after the install.

I didn't like them with my stock headers/or h, so i traded them to my buddy for his magnapacks. now with my lt's and or x it really quieted it down, so i kind of miss them. :/
