5k budget ideas pls !!!

I have a 5000$ budget dont know how to make good use of it here are some ideas

I have a 4.6 2v engine would prefer to go 4v just to say i have one lol

Buy 99-01 cobra engine 3-4$
Buy 99-04 used cobra heads and forge my block to handle 1000hp 4-4.5$ including misc like chains tensioners guides (timing chain cover and valve covers from junkyard)
Buy trick flow heads 2$

Im also trying to save to get a good trans im thinking a tko 600 6 speed with the whole automatic swap kit witch is like 2900-3000$

My power goal is 550-600 rwhp
Down the road i would get a kenne bell

Any ideas from the experts !!!

Throw a KB 2.2 on there now. Not to be an ass, but $5,000 isnt enough to build a car.

long tubes, bolt ons and ported intake get that. Ported heads, cams and long tubes with a tune is just more icing on the cake

aviator heads are the same as the mach 1, 03/04 cobra and mercury maurader. best regular production head ford has made.

Cams, theres a good bit to choose from, last piece of the puzzle, it ties every thing together. On a 4v shorties are useless, long tubes are worth it.

One thing
How hard is it to find an aviator engine in a junkyard ill try to find one as cheap as possible and then forge it and have enough for cams and headers

And whats a good price for these engines

Why waste money when you can just google it i have already taken my engine apart and put it back together once without any knowledge except google and running like a champ

I just want to take it to the next lvl and have a 4v engine

id say stay 2v. build the bottom end for around $2500 and piece together a blow or turbo setup with whatever is left. then later get 2v cams and ported or tfs heads

Good starting money. If I were you, I'd piece together a Vortech V1 T-trim kit, intercooler setup, and see how you like ~380 or so RWHP first. I want a ton of power too, and fully intend on eventually building my car for 500+/- RWHP, but in reality I'd be completely thrilled with even 400.

Dumb reason.

Just start out with something simple first and see how you like it. As I mentioned, consider piecing together a nice blower setup. Or you could even make a strong running N/A 2 valve. Some HiTech stage 2 cams, which are very boost friendly, long tubes, etc. Things that would be suitable for possibly going boosted in the future, so you don't have to do anything twice.

TKO600 is a 5 speed. Just get yourself a 2003-2004 Cobra T56, throw in a 26 spline input shaft, get a good flywheel/clutch combo, pretty much good to go with that area. If you want to beat on it a ton, billet keys, bronze pads, new carbon synchros to freshen it up, etc.

I rode in a 390 RWHP 5 speed Kenne Bell GT and absolutely loved it, but don't get hung up on one sort of power adder. You'd love the mild street manners, yet awesome top end of a centrifugal.

Hell, somehow my N/A GT has enough grunt in it to consistently chirp 3rd and 4th gear, and while I have my Vortech sitting in the house, I'm perfectly happy with it now.
