You never said what size turbo? Also what are the spool charistics?
I'm running a pte6262 turbo and full boost by 3200rpm, 373's and a 3400 stall converter. This setup works great for a track setup but a 327 would probablly do better for the street. I'd do what scott suggested and keep the 373's and throw a 28" tire on it. Atleast you'll have a better tire.

i'm running On3's t70 turbo. yeah by about the 3200 mark I'd say near full boost if not full boost. I'm running Toyo Proxes TQ's or Nitto Nt05r 315/35/17's

I didn't think that you were suppose to go WOT in 4th (overdrive) in an automatic. It was something about 3rd not disengaging properly and tearing up the transmission.

sorry i always mess up the terms, i mean 3rd gear is where i'm hitting 115-120 depending on shiftpoint/rev limit.
@Scott: not positive on that, don't have the tires to really do much with the setup she's at now. I will have some footage at my uncle's closed course sometime in the future. |
