anyone running a p1sc with smaller (2.5"-3.0") pulley?

Just curious if anyone has run a smaller pulley on their P1SC and what boost/#'s you were making? Friend of mine is claiming he is making 575 rwhp with a 2.5" reichard racing pulley. built 2v block (8:5:1) with blower cams, longtubes, etc.

thoughts?

If that's actually true I can pick up a used P1sc pretty cheap that just had oil changed.

he is overspinning the blower like crazy and 99% sure he would need to be 8 rib. I ran 3.00 on my p1sc with cams and longtubes and was in low-mid 400rwhp range. I currently have a 2.8 on my d1sc making right at 20 psi. I have everything you need for whatever ur trying to do. Im parting my car out.

and my car made 599rwhp with built motor/cams/ported heads/longtubes/etc/etc/ and 20 psi from the d1 with 2.8. Just to give you an idea.

Is 20psi about the maximum you will safely see on that D1? 599 is pretty solid for a D1SC. PM me if you're parting out... I'm interested assuming there's no damage to anything and all the seals are in good shape. How usable is the power for you? Your sig would imply 499 tq / 543 whp. I'm hoping to be well over 500 ft lb tq.

Any idea if these kits will work with a meziere electric water pump?

Is there anyone out there that even sells a tuner kit for our cars that's a Pro Charger F series head unit?

What kind of power are people making on the Novi 2000 (intercooled) ? Those seem to be around $4700 new. Not sure what they're capable of... I remember hearing something in the past of around 550 rwhp but I don't remember exactly.

Novi 2k is very comparitable to a d1 in cfm flow and hp it will make. If your looking for big power with a centri blower at a budget a V7 ysI trim is the best bang for the buck setup. 3100 for the head unit, 250 for the bracket, pulleys, and hardware, and what ever fuel setup you want.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. I don't think over 600 rwhp will really be all that useable IMO. Anything above 500 rwhp and 500 ft tq I'll be happy.

What #'s should I expect from a YS1?

How are both on belt slippage w/ 6 rib, and w/ 8 rib?

No intercooler? You sure you can expect big power without one? Doesn't seem right. Gotta cool that air somehow.

I'm around 310 rwhp / 310 ft tq all motor at the moment (302 stroker)

Ysi trim is a big daddy blower. 1600 cfm with a agressive 4.10-1 step ratio. This means it will slip with tiny pulleys if you stay 6 rib but i have seen people run a rr 3.0 8 rib and get well into the 700's with that pulley combo

Is there a kit out there for this? Where can I buy with proper bracketry/tubing/etc ?

Ysi fits on the standard vortech bracket for our cars. The head unit is 3100 and the bracket with the idlers pulleys and install hardware can be had off superchargersonline.com for 250. Then you make a power pipe for 60 dollars, ic for 300, slot maf with weld on adapter and pig tail 300, and what ever fuel system you need to support

got a link? the bracket mounting kit says $1599 (though that includes everything BUT head unit -- which wouldn't be bad IMO).

Perhaps you were talking about http://www.superchargersonline.com/p...er=V4FL111-031.

I haven't ever made an intercooler before... wouldn't know where to start I suppose.

Yeah, I'm liking where he's going

I just need to know parts/links to ensure I've got everything I need. Fabricating an intercooler doesn't sound fun in terms of custom making tubing, etc.

Looking for something that can plug and play with purchased parts. I have a JLT power pipe already, so I think I'm set in that area? Been some time since I've touched this stuff.

That's not a huge deal. What kind of fabrication work are we talking? I assume just cutting/splicing/basic hand tool stuff?

Now to get these brakes on, suspension work, rear seat delete in, tires, and then super charger!

fab work is simple you just gotta be willing to do some cutting. i cut out the back side of my bumper bar to fit the ic behind it, then i had to cut a hole in the lower part of my fender to run the ic pipe threw it. do a little convincing on the power steering cooler to move it out of the way. remove the radiator support bar, and a little pipe cutting to get everything to fit.

Yeah that thing isnt even in its efficieny range either. Put 26psi to it and see what it does. This guy is local, has a YSI 2V

Made 668rwhp/554rwtq @ 19-20psi. Again, go up to 26+psi and that thing will make a lot more power. YSi's like high boost. When I do a motor build and what not, Im skipping the T-Trim/Si trim and going right for a YSi.

Maximum rpm on a P1SC is supposed to be 62,000. He's spinning his to 64,000.
