Kooks
Just got the word in, my paint job should be done end of next week. Took the bastards a month. Of course they tell me 1-2 weeks to get me excited then they find a dent here and an imperfection there. Each of which takes them an extra 3 days to fix. cocks. anyways next mod will be 4.10s then doing full exhaust. Thinking of going the full Kooks route. Expensive as hell but I hear its worth it. only thing is i cant find any clips of them. tried youtube and mustangexhaust.com. no dice. anyone have any clips or know a site where i could listen. or can anyone vouch for their sound? thanks.

well i think i may be be one of the few that have their set up...i run 1 5/8 LT's with 2.5 Collector and X-pipe from kooks...and your right they are not cheap but i think it was worth it...now, as for sound you really wont get a diffinitive answer...
I have a Pypes cat-back system and the comments from others that say the X-pipe is raspy is hell is only true if your using a system that will amplify it even further like a SLP LM. But all in all i like my set up...ill see if i can get a video for you to listen to with my set up asap. |

i love my kooks. i have the headers and o/r x with flos. i have a video clip you can listen to but i also have heads cams and a blower, but you will get a little idea. its just at idle i will try later this weekend to get a drive by video. kooks are the way to go. they are worth the extra money.

yes they do have all OEM emmisions fittings...also come with O2 extensions and gaskets along with the LT purchase...they were made to NOT drop the k-member since it had one slip fit tube...none the less i dropped mine cause it was 3x easier...worth the money like sonic said.

Kooks is by far the best headers you can buy out there...I was going to go with their set-up but when it came down to it I had to put my money elsewhere on my car...
They are well worth it though... |
