If it is anything like the pro 5.0 it is sloppy compared to an MGW.
If you like it, don't spend money on a new one though.

I think this is better than any opinion I could type up.

Pretty much stock engine GT, 3.73s, on a worn out Centerforce DFX with a flywheel that wasn't resurfaced, shifting at only 5,500, and chirping 3rd and 4th.. Love this shifter. Just gives me a response that I don't think any stock shifter could. I've wanted to try MGW out of curiosity, but I haven't missed a gear in months, sticking with my Tri Ax.

Not sure what it's like on your T45, but on my T56 it's just pure awesomeness.

I had the steeda on my last stang. It was a lot better than stock, but i did not like it and would not buy one again. I would either go pro 5.0 or MGW. I have the latter in my current car and really like it a lot more than the steeda. You already have the steeda for free so the steeda gets a point!

I love the steeda. I've had a pro 5.0 and a hurst whiteball shifter. Steeda tri ax is my favorite so far.

Its better than stock but its not an MGW! I'm probably one of the few thats had both. I like the MGW 1000 times more. Its quieter and has a much better feel.

I keep hearing about the MGW. Why is it so much better? I'm not opposed to upgrading if it's worth the $.

So... here's my opinion. Further right is further betterness.

1------------------------------------------2----3----4

1 is stock.
2 is stock with solid shift-lever-to-base bushings ($10)
3 is the Tri-Ax
4 is the MGW

So, why the MGW? The MGW feels a lot more solid, and it's a lot smoother. With the tri-ax, every shift is 2-clicks: 1st-click-N-click-2nd.... 2nd-click-N-click-3rd.... 3rd-click-N-click-4th.

Ive had both. i recently switch out my MGW for the Tri-ax, just 2 weeks ago actually.
The MWG felt much tighter. the shifts just felt firmer. i switched because i really wanted the rockcrusher shift handle. lol

I think i'm actually gonna switch back to the MGW tho.

The tri-ax is just so much louder for some reason. its really annoying! my gf hates it lol. although it looks so much better with the rock crusher handle on there. im not really sure why its so much louder tho?? i put all the same boots back over the Tri-ax that i had over the MGW.

Handle alone makes it worth it. Smoother. Less noise. The mgw allows you to adjust the handle to fit you perfect.

Read my edit.

The MGW feels heavier, in a good way. The centering springs are stronger, the shifts feel more solid, it's got a more consistent feel as you move the shifter around.

I could give you a sex-based metaphor, but this is the wrong area for it, lol.

My triax was fucking loud too. Tons of gearbox whine, MGW is quiet as stock.
