Thinking about underdrive pulleys, which brand is best?
I just had my mufflers cut out now its time for my next mod, since straight piping was only $40 I kinda want to spend a good amount on other things, I was told by a friend who had a mustang just like mine that underdrive pulleys would help a lot, any suggestions?

Best is a subjective word. I've heard good things about the Steeda. That's what I'm going to run on my new engine.

I went steeda, I would advise against using piggy back style pulleys. I have read seveal horror stories on them. You may want to consider putting your money into something else like gears if you havent done so already. Pullies didnt really make a drastic change in performance.

I've had my eye on a March set if/when I do this. However, the reported gains aren't enough to make it a priority right now. Have you done tuner/gears? That would be my recommendation.
Here's a link to the pulleys, they seem high quality: Ford 4.6 PULLEY SETS |

I would also advise you to go with gears or a tuner. The pullies do not make the crazy claims they claim. The are a nice touch I guess, but they would be close to last on my list.

Pullies are WORTHLESS! You should just throw your money in the trash. First, many cause problems and crank underdrive pullies often have no dampening built back in. You can spend your money much wiser on something else. TRUST US!

+1 Steeda UDP's, They are the only non-piggyback pulleys I know of, and from a great company.
You have the exhaust, hows your intake?
