So I just got a pretty major e-mail and there is a slight possibility, albeit slim chance, this may have to be postponed a little bit, here's why:
As some of you guys know, I'm an actor, and I was just asked to do a private audition for a National Broadway Tour out in NYC on Tuesday, so depending on if I get the contract or not depends on how soon I can do this, because if I land it, I'll be in NY in the next couple months and then out on tour for the following 9 months, so the Stang would just sit back here in Colorado for probably a full year while I was out on tour.

Theres a pretty good chance I won't see a contract out of this though, as is typical with 98% of auditions.

So, Matt let's still plan on doing this in the next couple Months. I'm tentatively thinking of an Early December tear down.

I'll keep you updated for sure.

Like I said before, don't be scared of an auto rebuild. I'm really glad to see that you guys are going to do this. Again, I HIGHLY recommend getting a book or DVD on it though. The first time I did an auto trans I had a DVD. I also installed a manual valve body and racing clutches with a 3800 stall. That thing is still kicking today, 12 years later, taking 10 second passes like a champ!!!
