PCV valve


I need to replace the pcv valve on my crankcase. It seems rather difficult to get off and I don't want to break it off. What is the best way to remove it?

if im not mistaken its a twist lock style , its been a while since i did mine but i had the same trouble then found it twist to unlock then pulls out . be careful dont want to break anything
