im not exactly excited about paying 700$ for a block, but at least it takes a little guess work out of the equation because i know its in good shape. id be glad to buy another one for a better price though. if you know anything about where to find these intakes please share. im dying trying to get my hands on something like that. the sullivan, boss 290, and cobra r intakes are extremely difficult to find.

these blocks arent hard to find and they are barely if ever in a shape that you cant machine them right. Ive seen tons of 150k+ truck engines come out and they are good and true. You are gonna hone/bore it so it doesnt matter there and I have yet to seen a stock usage engine that was twisted or out of whack. You need to shop around more. For a stock iron block I wouldnt give more than 150-200 bucks. 700 ONLY if its already machined, freeze plugged etc and ready to assemble
