trickflow intake?

Trick flow is making an intake that closely resembles the 2001 Bullitt intake, except it uses a single throttlebody instead of the twin setup. I was wondering if anyone knows more about this thing because I am about to buy it.

They are also making them that can run the twin bore tb's...

Some magazines have tested them but I still ahve not seen anyone that does not have something to gain from trickflow do a test...

It looks great and looks like it should be an awesome intake but I cant spend $800 on a hunch...I need solid facts...

If you do buy the intake and sue it please get before and after dyno numbers so we can see what really is gained...

Sorry that i really dont have any more info...

Well there is a guy over on Modularfords.com running it and he has gotten gains! His horsepower numbers stayed relativly the same, but here is why. His boost level dropped 3 PSI from the before and after. Meaning that he is making the same horsepower with 3 less psi of air! That right there shows that the intake flows air better and is more effecinetly designed! If I was building a motor right now at this point and time I would definatly have one. I have yet to see much with it N/A, but I do know that the write up in one of the magizines had misprints in their dyno chart. In fact in the middle range it lost 6 ftlbs of torque. Ill get the correct numbers for you here in just a second. Hope this helps!

Its becuase the Trickflow I guess must flow better then the stocker...Thus the drop in boost...The same happens when you upgrade heads, cams, add intercooler or exhaust...

Yea I really started to look into new intake manifolds because I am seriously thinking about giving my car a 100 shot of Nitrous, and I have heard horror stories about the stock manifold cracking/exploding.
