Removed ecu now car won't start

I had removed the ecu to make the wires look clean. Put the ecu back in and the car would not start. Security light just keeps flashing real fast

Well, considering you probably cut and spliced wires. you better start redoing/checking all your wires.. I don't even know why you would attempt this.

A connector could also be loose. they really need to be connected tight.

Goodluck...

is everything plugged back in? double check it all. sounds like theft mode keeping it from cranking, especially since the lights flashing fast. unplugging it all shouldn't cause the pats module to lose it's programming, so make sure everythings plugged back in. if it is, looks like you'll have to take it to the dealer to reprogram your keys. they should only charge you 1/2 hour to do so.

edit: you may be sol now anyways, because the computer see's that a theft's been detected so the cars immobilized. recheck everything you did and you'll prolly have to get it towed to a dealer.

I did it because the push tab was broken and the kick panel does not stay on, and I was just zip tieing them together. So how much does the dealer charge to flash them

unplug it and make sure you didnt bend any of the field mouse dick sized pins. Then if those are all straight make sure the connector is seated all the way.

You would have been better just getting a new panel instead of cleaning the wires lololololololol a zip tied panel seems a lot better now than a car that wont run

my dealer charges 1/2 hour for a key reprogram, at our shop that's 42.50 so it all depends what your dealer charges an hour.
