Radio Bezel

I have a 2000 GT so the radio is in the middle and the CD player below it with the heating controls on top and was going to try to get the piece like the 01-04 so I can run a touch screen but i was thinking the other day and has anyone ever put the heating controls on the bottom and the radio on top? If I cut the bar in between would I be able to run a touch screen below the heater vents? I know it would require some custom work but it seems like that would be a better spot for a touch screen since it will sit up higher. Wanted to know what I was getting myself into before I tore into it

How about I flip a coin to see who goes first? Heads you do Tails I do.......It was heads, you're just going to have to trust me on this

hahaha I might try it this winter, I think it would look good and then the shift knop wouldn't be in the way of it

Been thinking about it. I think the touch screen would be too high up and would look awkward.

I'd rather have it down low (normal) gear shift may be close but won't be in the way.

Heads, you gonna have to wait a long time. Interior/audio is last on my upgrade list

Yeah I'm not sure, maybe i'll try to get a piece from the junk yard and mock it up. I was only thinking of moving it up because it will be better so that the Girlfriend can watch movies on it while taking long trips, apparently she doesn't like the sound of the exhaust as much as I do hahha

You need a new girlfriend not a touch screen. Haha.

Higher up it is, the easier thieves can see/steal it.

Haha you find me a girl that loves an exhaust more then the radio haha but she puts up with the listening to it every now and then. I just figured she'd like the touch screen and then I don't have to carry a gps.

The down fall to owning a convertible is that is someone wanted to steal something bad enough they can always let them selves in haha

Alright. And idk I have the double din right now. So I'd need the dash piece and is there another piece put in the radio?
