ABS lights, and others with gear install

Hey guys, so I bought this 01 Mustang last year as a project vehicle. It had ABS lights on, and the traction control will not work. The previous owner had had gears installed in it, and said that both issues had come up since.

It leaked diff fluid just sitting there, so I replaced the gasket and refilled it. Since then it has continued to leak, but it doesn't look like it's coming right from the diff cover.

Anyone have any advice for me?

I've still got a lot of little things to get done, but this and an airbag light are really bothering me.

are the tires the same size all around is it a staggered setup? The ABS light will be out of sync if the all the wheels are not spinning at the same speed, or close to it. The gear install has nothing to do with it with the exception that you have to remove the abs sensors during the install. it's likely something is not hooked up properly. Did the original owner do the install himself?

If the tires/rims are all the same size, check your abs sensors as they are easy to break if someone was careless while removing the axles for the gear install.

He said he took it to a shop, but there are a TON of shade tree shops around here. The original tires had skinnies in the front and fatties in the back(45s/40s respectaviely), but I replaced the tires with the same size all around and still have lights.

Is there anything I can do from the outside to look into this?

Why did you pull the fuse? And did you put it back in?
