Stage 2 comp cams, catted magnaflow x and slp lm1's. I am changing my exhaust within the next couple weeks to bbk Longtubes, o/r x and Magnapack catback!

If your trying to pick what cams you want by sound or even considering which ones by sound just stop right there. Obviously the most radical sound is going to appeal to you more and will also probably be the worse performance cam. When you think of cams think performance, driveability, install, RPM range, HP gain under the curve.

Do not think sound, cheap, peak hp...

You will end up with a less than perfect cam choice. I know this sounds rude but you will be sorry if you cam swap then ride or drive in another car (or get smoked by) that is cam swapped that drives better and pulls harder than yours because they went with a smaller cam and sacrificed sound for performance. I made that mistake before. Alot of us have. I was 16 years old with a comp 292s in a 289 in my 67 Mustang. The car was a dog but it sounded awesome. A few months later I swapped to a smaller cam (230@.050) and the car was insanely faster.... Bigger cam sounded better, everyone wanted to race, always lost lol. Smaller cam still sound good but actually won alot more races..... Do you want to win or sound good?

Yeah buy a cam for performance first off. You can find a set that sounds good and performs well. I like the sound when you have a good set of cams for your set up, and you are able to tell by tone of the engine when you're accelerating, that it's performing at best. It just sounds like everything is working in harmony.

idk man i really want them but im thinking about doing a 2.1 kenne bell and everyone says ill already have to much power for the stock bottom so it would be a fast for one. Thats why i was shooting for a good sounding one bcs if im already gunna be at 425 i can't really go up more.

im in love with the frpp nsr 3v hotrod cams.lol to bad they dont fit on our cars. the best sounding 2v cam ive heard is the MHS stage 2P cam, but i do believe you have to pull the heads and replace/mod the valves for it to clear
