Supercharger oil drain
ive heard that must superchargers you need to drill a hole in your oil pan. Is this correct? Or are there any superchargers out there where you dont have to tap the oil pan? Thanks for your opinions guys.

Prochargers dont tap the oil pan...They are self contained...
The rest need the pan tapped (dont know about the positive displacement blowers though)... |

Why is everybody so scared of drilling the oil pan? It isn't that hard and it isn't even an expensive replacement

Ok thanks. I have heard the Novi 2000 is a great SC, and can add a ton of boost if your car is built for it. So i'm trying to find out what I can about it. I was originally gonna go with a P-1SC, but DRGN said you can build up for more power in the future with the Novi 2000 alot better. Plus it's pretty cheap at a little under $5,000.

The prochargers are a great blower set-up...I will say that full heartedly becuase its the truth...
I bought a vortech becuase that is what I wanted...Also at the time Modular Powerhouse did not sell or deal in prochargers...Now they do... Take this back about a year ago and I would have bought a D1SC for my car...Or would ahve fallowed the original plan and went with a Paxton Novi 2000... |

I know the kits from modular Powerhouse come with everything you need...There are quite a few places out there that will sell you a whole kit and I am sure most of the boosted guys on here will tell you who they bought them from so lets just give you the websites of who we recommend...
www.modularpowerhouse.com I love my Mongoose Kit... If I had my choice I would go with the Novi 2000 but it is going to be more expensive becuase the regular kit does not come with an intercooler...A good intercooler set-up will normally run you upwards of $1000 brand new...The Prochargers come with an intercooler so thats nice as all get out there... |

1001834-2 NOVI 2000 Tuner Kit With Air/Air Charge Cooler, Satin Finish $4,876.95 And how much is the Procharger D-Series kit with an Intercooler??? Because the Novi 2000 seems cheap priced to me anyway. Thanks! |

I got my Procharger, 3 core intercooler, 42lb injectors, Lighting MAF, Focus fuel pump for less than $4,700 shipped. I think the base kit with smaller intercooler, injectors..etc was close to $4,000.
