Help me out here please
So, this Christmas I planned on getting the regular black bullitts for my front and deep dish in the back with wider tires. I also planned on lowering my car. My dad talked to his mechanic today and he said "I don't recommend lowering your car and doing the staggered look because it causes problems." For as many people I know who do this and looking on the forums about this I've never heard of people having problems. My dad said he isn't going to buy this stuff if its going to cause problems. I'm not so worried about lowering it or getting wide tires in the back... but do I need wider tires for deep dish rims?

I am lowered about 1.75" in the rear maybe more with 315/35 tires. I should roll my fenders, but I dont absolutely HAVE to.

The tire size depends solely on how wide the rim is. Deep dish will not change that.

Your mechanic is retarded.
It wont hurt a thing. Your not the first person to put big tires on your car.

Do 265s on the front, 285s or 295s on the back, get some MM caster camber plates, and it'll be absolutely fine.

I would (1) buy the springs and rims (2) get a new mechanic! As for your tire size question it depends on the width of the rim. The wider the rim the wider the tire you can run.
