What tranny do i have?!

I found a hurst short shifter im wantin to buy thats for a 3650 tranny and i have a 2000 gt. As far as i kno the tranny is factory. Will this shifter work in my car or is mine a t-45?

Here's a link that tells how to determine what factory transmission your car has.

It should be a T45, and no a 3650 shifter won't work with it. If you want to be absolutely certain what you have, put the car on ramps or jackstands, crawl underneath and look at the trans drain plug. If it's right on the bottom, pointing straight down, it's a 3650. If it's on the lower side of the trans it's a T45.
