Suspension Setup
Since no one is looking at this in the Suspension Forum ill post it here:
So I am going to try to upgrade my suspension right now. Looking at some opinions. I am def. going to get Granetelli Rear Upper and Lower Control arms(which come with all the new hardware) Also looking at spings and struts. Thinking of getting Tokico Struts(used them on my Escort when I had it) those seem to be nice struts. But springs I am not to sure about. I saw on AM, they have Ford Racing C-Springs for 149.99, says you get about a 1" - 1.5" drop. Eibachs seem to be the same but they are more expensive. Has anyone tried FR C-Springs, if so how do you like them? So my setup will look like this: Granetelli Rear Upper and Lower Control Arms - $150 Tokico Struts- $350-$400 FR C-Springs - $150 So about $650 in total for parts, maybe a little cheaper if I can find the right Spring/Strut Combo. Let me know whatcha all think. |

Just a thought, but you can check Steeda as well. Their stuff is high quality, and quite popular too.

I know of 2 people in Colorado that have snapped Granetelli control arms at the welds. I would seriously think about going with a Steeda setup. I just did a whole Steeda setup with Tokico shocks. Awesome quality and performance. I went with steeda because they arent a "mass market" company, just Fords and mainly Mustangs. Plus they are big into the SCCA and Trans-Am series type racing.

Thatd be a good bet. Thats why you can buy Granetelli's upper & lower for less than $200
