Shaun or anyone else running Magnaflows

I have an American Thunder Catback and want to change out the muffler to a Maggie.

Does anyone know if the part number of the muffler on the Magnaflow Catback is 11236 or what??

I don't know the part number I bought my Magnaflow mufflers at a muffler shop. I was running the original Flowmaster 40s and hated them. Instead of buying a completely new cat-back I went to a muffler shop and had them cut out and the Magnaflow mufflers welded in.

A muffler shop can get you the right part number. Magnaflow makes a direct replacement for the original Flowmaster 40. Same offset and everything. All you have to do is to cut the old mufflers out and weld the new ones in. Since I don't weld I had a local shop do the work. It was a lot less expensive than buying a new catback. If you prefer to do the work yourself then call a muffler shop. They can get you the right part number.

P.S. I agree completely about the Flowmaster drone.

Flows drone for sure. I just installed a magnapak cat back yesterday though and it completely changed the sound of my exhaust. It's not bad just real deep I kind of liked my old flows better. Just my opinion. Go on AM I think they have a diagram for the magnaflow system that had the part numbers.

Stock pipes with Magnaflow mufflers is my favorite combo. Zero drone and great sound.

I had magna flow cat back switched to flowmaster thunder... I love it.

Drone is bad but I love the sound of it compared to the magna... sure magna is nice too though.
