I wouldn't cheap out on shifters. Tend to break easy.

Save up and get a good one. I have the pro50 power tower and I love it. It has been impossible to miss 3rd.

Yeah, the other issue with it is that it's almost certainly made overseas... the big three shifters (MGW, Tri-Ax, Pro-5.0) are all made here.

I bought and installed a triax about a month ago?
I like it! takes 10-15 min's to install, Has a nice solid feel to it and was a huge improvement over the factory shifter. I know some say MGW over Steeda or pro5.0 but honestly either of them will work great for you! I tried the MGW and felt just as good (or vice versa) as the steeda. if you want to be really cheap about it... you could buy the steeda handle which is like a 1/4-1/3 of the length of the factory shift handle... lol... but trust me, just spend the money on steeda, pro5,0 or MGW and just be done with it!! |

I'll rep UPR's blue thunder shifter.
Bought mine used with lots of miles on it, still felt firm and crisp. Love it. ...just bought a UPR o/r X from them today too

I have the American Muscle shifter, and it sucks. The ring around the shifter is always coming loose, and giving me problems down shifting into second. Its got a throw to it, but I'd personally save up and get a good shifter.
