11.99 Bone stock suspension. Sup
So i took the car to the track today.
Ran a 11.99 @ 113.9mph Bone stock suspension (minus front sway bar) and 3.08 gears With the rear end rebuilt with a higher ratio and upped boost i expect to run lower then 11.5 on the same setup. Just wanted to throw that out there for anyone considering dumping big money into a suspension setup. Its good food for thought when considering how much you need for how fast your going.

Awesome Shark. Good run! I certainly won't argue with the stock susp theory!

Nice man congrats, Im one of those guys that thinks the stock suspension capable of getting good ETs out of it. Ran out of time this year to use real tires and try it out.

If mine didnt already have full suspension mods I would definantly have put the money somewhere else. But it was already on the car when I bought it . But I knew it was possible to run good times on stock setup.

Awesome. I ran better 60's when I had a stock suspension. I was running 11.2's with a 1.65 60' and 17" dr's. Changed the rear comtrol arms and a upr K-member kit and it drop to 1.74-1.78. I have something screwed up.

what was your 60'? while the stock setup isn't bad as long as you have good tires, you'd still get better times with more suspension mods.
still some good times tho man. I can see mid 11's with your setup with a few more tweeks.

I agree, stock suspension will go a long way with a set of air bags in the rear springs.

If u think about it y would u change ur suspenision from stock unless ur car is just purely for strip??I can understand for autocross but 1/4s there really no point in wasting the money

Its not wasting money. Launching a stalled auto on sticky tires is a lot easier then launching with a standard car.

nice! suspension still benefits though. what was the sixty foot? i make similar power and cut in the 1.5x's. if you can get it down in that range you'll pick up even more.

Deff not wasted money, my car runs similar times in the 1/8th as S/C cars with 100-150 more whp than I do N/A. With the slicks im about to put on it it will be 7.8X range on motor, most S/C cars I have seen with near stock suspension and a bunch of power are only in the 7.99-8.40 range. Wasted money for someone who only goes to the track less than 2 or 3 times a year, yes.

Nice run Sharkbait!
If you're only going to make one change to the suspension, change out the rear LCAs. They absolutely suck (the stock ones).
