Custom Exhaust Video

So I finally got a camera and was able to get a video of my Exhaust setup. It is stock manifolds into a 2.5" Y Pipe that Y's into 3" with a Cherry Bomb dump muffler on the end.

Here's a picture:

And the Video:

Tell me what you guys think.

Why did you go with a y-pipe instead of an x or h crossover?

I had both and didn't like either one. And I wanted mine to sound different than every other mustang.

Sweet, I'm liking it.

It sure does sound different than I was expecting. Assuming it is dumped after the muffler? How is the sound/drone in the car?

Nothing wrong with being different. I wouldn't have had the whole thing welded together but a sawzall will work if you ever need to drop the transmission.

Well it is quite loud inside the car, but I don't think it has bad drone. It's just loud all the time.

And the whole thing is welded save for the joints at the manifolds. So I can pull the whole thing off in one piece.

With only one muffler you can change it out for $30-$100 for a single 3" muffler.

You may want to try a "turbo" style muffler. $30 ish for a muffler plus welding... Summit Racing SUM-630130 - Summit Racing® Turbo Mufflers - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Why would I want to change mine out? I love my exhaust and it already has a muffler.
This one to be exact:
Cherry Bomb

Lol, I was just thinking about how affordable changing out one 3" muffler is compared to two 2.5" mufflers.

i like it, but i expected it to sound nice and clean with a Y pipe. alot of people dont realize that 2 into one will really clean things up. i would put a v6 bumper or something on the back so you dont look empty. also i would run a single pipe back there to keep the interior noise down.

Interesting...never seen anything like it on a GT. Where did you come up with that idea?

Right now my down-pipe splits into two and goes to the mufflers from there but eventually I'll be doing something similar to this, with the y pretty much right at the mufflers.
