they are great for entry level turbo setups. Just go with the master power turbo head units or better. The chinese knock-offs are junk. But for the price they are the best. I have the on3 kit on my car now.

not exactly..... $1800 only covers the turbo, intercooler, and piping. The other stuff that you will need is Injectors, Mass-air meter w/adapter plate, and tubular k-member,a-arms ect. All in all you should spend right around $3000 for everything exept tune. Thats about what I have in mine. my power numbers are in my sig if you were wondering.

I bought my k-member off ebay and my mass-air and injectors from on3. It was that best deals that I could find. But when comparing to the Hellion kits and some of the others, its alot cheaper than the $6000+ kits thats out there.

I was seriously was considering an ON3PERFORMANCE kit but after viewing all the work and hassle to installing/smogging it, i decided to plan a Vortech route. Keep in mind if you live in a smog state then your screwed and risk of being caught in the street. Well at least i would have in cali. They are both in the same price range. AM has a good sale if you use the promocode (can be obtain by Chris at AM) and fill out the 250 mail in rebate by vortech.

This. Its not exactly "cheap" The partial kit like he mentioned, the base turbo (70mm On3 Performance) Intercooler, piping, oil lines, hotside piping. That turbo is plenty for the stock motor. But I think itlll start to suck past 450-500rwhp.

Injectors, MAF, fuel pump setup, tuner, K-member, alignment, a arms, etc..... Itll add up.

For the price though, On3 seems to be great. Ive heard nothing but positive things from them latley. I almost traded my Vortech setup for an On3 setup, but couldnt figure out why the guy was selling it, and I didnt trust him.

Yeah that would suck for CA people. Cause I think it you delete the EGR system, and no cats, and no rear O2 bungs. Obviously you can do that stuff yourself, but Im sure it would be a hassle.

Shaun03GT, Looking back to what he said im sure it would be cheaper to run the Vortech vs. upgrading/or if he wanted to make the On3Performance smog legal.

Oh and it does suck to live in Cali when you want to make a performance car. Kinda limits your options.

If you go in the website it says 1800 for the kit BUT you will need an additional parts to completely prepare your car for a turbo kit, Coilover, Kmember, A-Arms all that..

Im really consindering the on3 kit or piecing together a d1sc kit. I don't know what I want to do, but Mustang46's torque numbers make me want the on3 kit.

I don't have one yet but I can tell you that buying a good brand like Vortech is the better way to go. Buy a good one and do it one time. Just my .02

Glad I don't live in CA anymore. They limit and tax you on everything.

Funny when your coming bck from las Vegas and you can see the smog lingering haha

The right way to do this the first time is to wait till you have a built bottom end so you don't risk blowing what your engine cant handle.

I am picking up the on3 forward facing header ( newer model and requires 50% less piping and is WAY more efficient ) once I get done with my suspension, drivetrain, internals, etc. Nothing but awesome things I have read about them and I have talked to them as well about what I want and they are very genuine and aren't afraid to tell you that their set up probably isn't right for you. Only issues with fitment I have heard from people who had it were because of the K-member they picked out. Good luck buddy and let me know how it turns out if you go with on3.

I think though properly set up, the turbo will outperform the vortech. My .02

I've heard the on3 kits can produce some decent power, but can require some 'modifications' to fit properly as if all kits are not 100% identical.
