Had the same thing happen going through a car wash, the car was running going through the car wash. It was spraying the tires and my filter is in the wheel well, the filter and MAF got wet. Wouldn't run for shit. Had it towed to the house, it sat for 2 days and started right up and ran fine ever since.

dont let it dry out, pull the plugs and turn it over with ome rags down the spark plugs holes (by hand) you shouldnt need to clean the mass air, wont hurt there could be road scum on it now, but make sure you pull the plugs. i did the exact same thing with my old v6 mustang and had a nice hole in the oil pan with a rod poking out. just remember you cant compress liquid so something is gonna give.

Yea I don't think it got enough water to hydro lock it. Im am such a dumbass for free reving it but hopefully it diddnt do any damage to my motor. It is running like a champ with no problems right now I hope it stays that way. I have 75xxx miles on this motor and I def don't have the money for a new one. A bent rod doesn't hide itself. If its running OK then the motor is OK. Sorry about the tires. I have a difficult time understanding that type of behavior.
