hahah its all good bro, I still dont think you read the whole thing lol. I said I probably wont have the money to tap into the potential power of the 4v heads :/ I wish I could, but as a college kid its not gonna happen...so I'm just gonna go 2v and have the lopey idle

I'm not totally sure on the specs of them, but I think theyre forged probe 2cc dish pistons...does that mean theyre notched?

I read "BIG" cams in the thread somewhere. Don't buy a cam that is not in your RPM range, you will really be sorry. I learned that the hard way.....

why not swap an aviator motor in? If you are going to stay NA might as well do the aluminum block 4v, no need for forged internals if you aren't going to make loads of hp.

While you are absolutely correct, I would like to add my thoughts. Dyno numbers don't mean anything unless you can get those number to the ground. That said, all engine designers test improved designs on engine dynos. They need quantitative data to adjust their designs. A lot of engine builders use the chassis dyno to adjust their builds. It helps them improve engine performance. But, engine performance and performance at the strip or track are two different thing. You still have to get the power to the road.

OP, if the builder can get all of the parts for a four valve heads and adjust your winging harness for the price of the cams, I'd do it. They flow a lot better. If not I'd go with cams.

He's kinda iffy about being able to get them. I told him to just do cams instead. I'd rather have a lopey idle than just a 4v. If I was gonna have money to do a blower or something later down the road, I'd do the 4v heads...but I wont. So all my friends will think I'm cool cause of how my car sounds

So really for my plans, 4v heads are pointless. I'd rather have it cammed. I appreciate all you guys's input though. I wanted to make sure I wasnt over looking anything
