Locate where they are getting in at ( follow their trail) and go about sealing that area up.

All you guys are just being silly. Give the man some good advice. Bro, you need an anteater.

Or you could just take your interior out some weekend and do a SEEERIOUS cleaning on everything.

+1 on anteater...I mean a thorough cleaning. If you get rid of what attracts them, they'll go away on their own...unless they've built a nest in your car.

Bugs aren't just going in your car because they think it looks baller, make sure there isn't any food under your seats or in the trunk. And don't park over any giant ant mounds

Applying some boric acid powder to your carpet will kill off the ants. Don't shake it out, just a very light dust is how you want to apply it. When the ants walk across it they will collect the dust on the tiny hairs on their legs. Later on they will clean themselves ( just like cats do ) and ingest the poison. Shortly there after they will die a horrible death of litteraly being dried out from the inside out. Once they are gone just vacuum it up. You don't have to worry about it effecting you either, pesticides are designed to work by the weight of the target pest. You would have to ingest a very large quantity of the stuff to hurt yourself.

Just remember, a very lite dusting is what you want. Use too much and they will avoid it.

This happened to me once. I was parking on an ant bed at work and didn't realize it. I went and got some ant traps and put them in the car...under the seats, on the floor....everywhere. It got rid of the problem.

why dont you try putting some and traps where ur normally see the ants and also try to locate the path that they r traveling in and put a trap there. Its worth a shot and will only cost you a few bucks

take out your whole interior (minus dash, unless you truly want to) and clean everything. There coming in for a reason and/or were always there you just never saw them. I just fixed my weak seatbelts and in the process of taking rear seat out i found french fries and lollipop sticks.. Considering i dont eat fast food or candy, this means the previous owner was a slob. Disgusted me so bad i gutted whole interior, cleaned it then each piece cleaned individually and put back in. I can now sleep at night lol. Idk how you do it, the second i saw a 'trail' of ants id set the car on fire an call the insurance company!

I had this same problem in another car I had. It turned out that the ants had started a colony in the trap where the wide shield wipers rest. All those dead leaves that settled in there made the perfect home. Check your car for and areas that may have clumps of dirt or debris.
