Cowl hood is painted and on the car

Finally got my cowl hood painted and on the car. Turned out great and gives the car a whole new look.

How did Yiu get your hood match to work? I need to re bend mine to fit in my cowl hood

You mean latch right? My body guy had to do a little bending for it to fit. Every part of the hood is smooth and it came like that. You can not see any fiber at all.

That looks friggen sexy man! Ive been wanting to get a cowl hood for a while now. A chin spoiler and grill delete on your car will make it look even better.

Trufiber 3" cowl. Great hood and I got a great price on it so that was nice.

I mean the hood support that lays across the radiator shroud and holds good up. Unsure what the tech name is?

Mine doesn't go inside the hood without Bendingthe rod. Once I bend te rid it won't clip back into place over the shroud.

Yes he had to bend the hood support (bar) a bit in order for it to fit into the hole in the hood, but it snaps right back into radiator cover. He bent the part that goes into the hood, but not very much.

I am in North Peoria, just south of Lake Pleasent. Check out Phaze 1 Collision Center on Cavecreek. Talk to Paul. They do custom paintwork. Got the hood from Stage 3 Motorsports for $450 cash delivered to my home. Talk to Lou. Paid another $400 for paint.
