I don't know who's car this is but its pretty clean. Plus they didn't use an adapter plate on their Eddy intake and went with an oval style TB and a sheet metel plenum. I almost went with an eddy intake instead of my TFS and if I did this is how I was going to do it. Why buy an intake and then put an adapter plate on it that decreases the size of opening just to put on a stock style TB/plenum? An aftermarket 78mm TB won't even flow never as much as a stock cobra TB.

I removed the battery and EGR, other than that it's either been powdercoated or chromed.

egr delete?

i saw a picture of someone doing this egr delete on the engine bay photos.. they all look great btw.. whats necessary to do the egr delete and have no code show up? as long as the code never shows im all set at the shop i go to. never looked under the hood or anything. i like the idea of cleaning the engine bay and weight reduction so let me know what i need? maybe a tuner??

and to answer aarongt2000, just remove the solenoids, vac lines, and valve. make a plate to cover the valve, or just leave it there, and remove the pipe from the manifold. can cut the pipe and pinch it over and weld it or possibly find a cap to fit it. have your egr turned off in your tune and you shouldnt have an issue with the CEL. good idea to have your rear o2 sensors switched off if you havent already. makes it easier to add an o/r x-h pipe down the road

unfortunately i still have the stock tune. so maybe the best idea for me is to get one.. for those looking to get a deal tho i ran across latemodelrestoration.com with free gears! with a purchase of their sct tuner.. i might take that offer cuz im still stock tune and gears.. and the whole rear end is due for a rebuild.. and my o/r x pipe is throwing codes now lol
edit: this is a black friday special for the gears
