Climate control issues any ideas

Well all of a sudden my climate control will only blow max hot air no matter what temp setting I put it on. Pulled off the climate control knobs unit to check the air blend cables but they work fine. I know there's a valve in the dash that has something to do with the cabin temp but don't know what it's called. Anyone had this issue? A/c works just fine so it's not that. Lucky winters coming up so it's not a big issue right now till spring.

Sounds like the blend door is stuck inside the box. I don't know if the Mustang's blend doors are actuated by vacuum, cable or servo. If it's cable or vacuum those need to be checked inside the box and outside. If it's servo you'll have to pull the box to check but I doubt it's servo actuated. Sounds like the blend door is either stuck mechanically or the actuator is stuck.

Yep, pull the radio deck and a/c out, in the back of the dash you'll see a grey piece connected to the a/c via a black cable... when you turn the a/c knob you should see it move back and forth
