Question About Moroso Coolant Expansion Tank

I plan to get this piece for Christmas, but I just have a few questions to plan ahead...
1) I read there's no coolant level sensor; Does this mean I'll have a light on in the car all the time and a loose wire or is that a mechanical thing?
2) My solution to having a visual on the coolant level was adding something like this on the side (Not this, but to get the idea of what I'm talking about)
The Best Water injection system and water methanol injection systems at AlcoholInjectionSystems.com

What do you guys think? And I'm probably gunna get it(and Moroso's brake res. and fuse box cover) Anodized black. Opinions?

I don't know anything about a coolant level sensor, but if you're assuming there's one in the factory coolant reservoir tank - there's not...or at least there wasn't in mine or in MP's Cobra. There was no electrical connection at all to my reservoir. I have this Moroso tank and have never had a light after swapping to it.

hmm. I'm wondering wtf the deal is then. Moroso Mustang Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank (96-04) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping! I didn't think there was anything there either, but people in these reviews are expressing concern about not having one

You dont need one, its just an overflow tank. its meant for excess coolant to travel thru.

So wait, it's not something the car comes with; these people are just mad that the moroso piece would require mods to add one?

I have a sensor for the coolant in my 00.

My light is always on due to radiator sludge. Keep flushing but it comes back within a few weeks. Going to get the same expansion tank, new intake manifold, and hoses and disable light.

hmm I wonder why yours had one and Tink's didn't...Its raining otherwise I'd check mine right now lol. I guess i'll find out when I'm able to get under the hood. Worst case if I have the sensor, I can just disable the wires

MPCobraFan and I changed our tanks at the same time. He didn't have a sensor, either.

I just got the chance to go out and check mine all over; I have no sensor at all lol. Maybe it's something they stopped in 2000?

Must be. I definitely have one on my overflow tank and the light hasn't turned off since I drained the system when I replaced my intake manifold.
