question about ud pulleys
i just got some motoblue pulleys and i was told by a mechanic that i know that the crank pulley wouldnt fit because i have a timing adjuster on that pulley now. the timing adjuster was on there when i bought the car. anyone know a way around this??

Re: question about ud pulleys
I've seen timing marks on older engines. They are spot welded to the timing chain cover and hang over the cranck pulley so you can use a timing gun to see what your timing is. If this is what you are talking about then you should have no problems b/c the underdrive pulley is smaller then the stock pulley. |

Maybe he's talking about the steeda timing adjuster? I never seen it in action so I couldn't tell ya lol

thats a mini cooper not a bug, isnt it?
back to matter at hand.... just take the stupid timing adjuster off. waste of money IMO
