Need help cutting rear springs


hey guys. Happy thanksgiving. Yesterday i cut 1.25 off my front springs it took me about 4 hours since it was my first time ever doing them. Well today i wanted to cut my rears maybe a coil or a little bit more but im lost i don't know where to go or what tools i need to do to take it off. So can anybody help me out please?

You already cut the fronts, so I'm assuming you're not talking about what tools you need to actually cut the spring.

Are you asking about how to remove the rears? Because that's crazy-easy... WAY easier than the fronts. Just jack the rear up by the pumpkin, unbolt the lower shock mounts, support the body with jackstands, and let the rear end down as far as it will go. You may be able to get the springs out without doing anything beyond that, but if you have to, support the axle-side of the LCA with the jack, unbolt the axle-side mount, then slowly let the jack down.

Insofar as cutting the rears, take it off the top. You need to keep the shape of the pig-tail on the bottom, and when you reinstall the springs, make sure the pigtails point to the passenger side.

The fronts are way easier for me lol. and yes remove the rears. and what size tools i need will also help thou lol. Thanks again

i disconnect the quad shock and regular shock to let the rear end droop and the spring will come out no problem...may need a little prying if necessary

And what can i use to take off the harden bolts. I used wd40, nd pentrating oil nd it still wont come out
