Finally My nitrous kit is ready!
After finding all the parts over a span of 4 months I am installing everything this weekend! Last thing to do is get the bottle hydrostatically tested and fill it up! I built some really cool brackets and Ill get pics up soon.
A couple last questions to all the nitrous guys out here I looked at the NX jetting chart and am running 52/33 for 100 rwhp shot. Is anyone else running the same jets? I am running this combo with nos jets and nos nozzle because the guy I bought the kit from gave me a 46/33... I was pretty mad but the nozzles dont effect the jetting right? I have a diablosport tuner, should I run the stock tune, a retareded stock tune or retard the 93 tune? If so how much? I figured I may need to even retard the stock tune cause technically it is a 120 hp shot at the engine. What should I change in the stock tune to make my auto shift as hard and downshift? |

nozzle won't affect the jetting. stock tune for 100 shot is perfectly fine.
i ran the 52/28 jet for my 100 shot because its what the jetting card said. yet their website says 52/33. anyway, car ran perfectly fine and never had any problems.

I ran 52N/27F for my 100shot with NGKTR6 plugs and the 93 octane tune retarded 4 degrees. I done that cause i'm running different gearing and tire size then stock and hated having the speedo reading 10 mph too fast. The 100 shot can be ran on the stock tune and stock timing with only a plug swap. I recently bumped the jetting up to a 57N/31F for a 125shot and it's been doing great on the same settings as I stated above on the stock fuel pump.

I am running autolight 103 which are a step colder, what are you running your gaps at? Thanks guys! Adding more fuel wont hurt it correct? Why the heck are they different, I think I may give them a call.

The best thing to do is get a wideband and tweek the air/fuel ratio. Im sure that jetting you got is gonna run on the rich side.

^ Good deal, if i didnt have to buy a BAP i would do a 150 but i dont want to buy one so il just put in 125 jets. I should be around 430 WHP and 500-550 WTQ on the 125 shot

You will enjoy the increased jetting but it does empty a 10lb bottle pretty damn quick.

Is anyone here actually running or have run a 33 jet? I could hold off and get some other jets. Would I just get less power? I am getting an o2 wideband soon but for now all I have is my diablosport/computer to see the narrowband. What reading should I be looking for WOT? Thanks again for all your help. I am aiming for mid 12s on street tires!

Cause right now I have a .033, .052 and a .046 The only shot I can jet for is a 100 and even that is rich. I would love to see if I can work out a deal with you! If this will run but just run with a little less power I have no problem doing it I just want to keep my engine together!

Thank you so much, definitely made my week! I will be glad to donate any of my jets to anybody that needs them, I just want to be safe! After looking a couple calculators I could really use a .026 for a smaller shot or a .028/.027 for that 100 shot according to the jet card that came kit. I am going to give them a call tomorrow to figure this all out. I am running a NOS nozzle though I dont know what your kit is but I know I cant mix the jets.

the 33 jet will be fine man, it will make it a little richer but the little bit more fuel you'll get will make it safer. Do you have a nitrous controller or atleast a window switch? they're a good safety item, and if you dont have either i suggest the hsw controller.
mid 12's will be possible if you can hook decent. my car ran a 12.1 but i'm stalled and that wasn't spraying right off the line.

I am running an auto so I figure I am pretty safe without the window switch for now. I was thinking about getting one of these Trick Performance Products Display Controllers TPP-00029
because I was planning on getting an 02 sensor anyway along with a pressure gauge and it would allow me to run a progressive controller and window switch! |

i love my hsw nitrous controller (w/ window switch) but i honestly think just a WOT switch would work perfectly fine with an auto....i spray out of the hole at 2200 rpm's no problem...seems its under 2k that the puddling occurs.
