CAR WONT START

hey guys i have a 2000 gt manual with 140k...
as i was coming from the gym the car died on me 3 times...every time i would crank it, it felt like it wasnt getting any fuel or spark...it would crank but never turn on...the first 2 times it turned on after me trying to turn it on about 10 times but would just die another few blocks...once i got it towed home it started up fine and is running ok for now...any idea what it could be? theres a new battery in there...so i know it isnt that perhaps its the fuel pump or spark pugs?....need urgent help and thanks in advance guys!

^+1 on the negative cable. Mine did that several times and I thought "great, what the ef is wrong". simply had to tighten up the negative cable.
