i want to buy an ECU tuner

so I've heard that it's cost efficient to buy an ECU tuner for the amount of power u can pull out of your car

im just completely unfamiliar with the whole market of these tuners. im looking to spend 300-400 although im sure its possible i may need to spend around 500, if not more. can somebody please point me in some sort of direction as to which tuners i should check out, and which are the most user friendly. also, from what i've been reading (and i could be completely wrong here) once you buy the module, do u then have to buy the tunes? or can u simply input your mods into the tuner and let it do the dirty work?

my current mod are:
4.10 Gears
CAI
No catted H-Pipe flowmasters

I like SCT since it's favored by most tuners but I'm tempted to try sniper because of the reviews

i have the SCT and love it. I have had the predator and SCT and chose to stick with the SCT.
