Update on Nothing

Remember a while back my 00 was acting up, knocking, sputtering, spitting, whatever you'll call it?

Well, funniest thing, I washed my car the other day and took it back out and since it hasn't made a sound. It runs perfect. In fact... I even have driven it long distances and it's running great. It's the craziest thing...

The only NEW symptom I noticed is this:

When I stop, and have no pedals pressed (gas or brake) my oil guage goes down to redline Low... but, my car is fine, the second i press the brake or the gas it jumps back up to normal (little bit past midline towards H)

Anyone have any idea, I'm really... at a loss now?

Uhm, maybe your alternator is going bad so when it's idling it doesn't have enough juice but when ya give it power it is giving enough power? or a short? *shrugs* I'm not a big help with electrical shit lol

I had an S-10 that did that same exact thing. I took it to countless shops trying to figure it out, and came up empty every time. I figured it was nothing to worry about and drove it like that for the better part of 1 1/2 years. Nothing went wrong......I'm guessin youre ok.
